Hello All!! As you have probably noticed if you visit often, I decided I wanted anew look to my blog, so today I updated it!! Hope you like the look.
Lately I have been getting the itch to bake a lot. I think fall does that to me. Right now I am thinking that I would love to make some pumpkin or spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting... delicious!!! Anyhow, Caleb's cousin moved to Rochester in June, and sometimes I think he might get a little homesick so I decided to make a recipe for sugar cookies that his mom makes every Christmas!! (Not to mention they are Caleb's favorite!!!) So the other day I made the dough and let it chill then yesterday I baked and frosted them. They are so delicious and they came out so cute!! They are the softest and best sugar cookies I have ever made and the recipe has been in the family for 3 or more generations!!
For those of you who don't know me that well I wanted to let you get a peak at my kitchen! Brace yourselves because my kitchen is PINK!!!! HAHA!! I absolutely love the color pink. At one point probably all of my clothes were pink (like senior year of high school!!) And when I got married, I really LOVED all of the new pink kitchen accessories, and my mom found some pictures of a retro pink kitchen so I decide d that was what I wanted to do with my kitchen. I love baking in my kitchen so here are a few pics.... I have to run to the store now to buy some groceries...maybe i'll get the ingredients for the cupcakes!!!! mmmmmm!!!!

I LOVE soft sugar cookies...do you share the recipie? Me and my sisters are friends die over those frosted pink sugar cookies that you buy omw they are heavenly. The pink kitchen is so cute...my hubs wouldn't let me do pink. :)
